This short guide will help you to install, activate, and use InstaText add-in inside Microsoft Word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It is strongly recommended that you update your Word application to the latest version (see Instructions<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open your Microsoft Word application and go to File \u2192 Get Add-ins<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alternatively, you can also view your add-ins directly from the Home<\/strong> tab by selecting Add-ins<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Store<\/strong> tab, search for “InstaText”. Click the Add<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alternatively, you can visit InstaText at Microsoft Appsource here<\/a> and click the Get it now<\/strong> button. Note that this option requires to sign in to Microsoft AppSource with your Microsoft account.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

You are now ready to activate and use InstaText inside Microsoft Word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

InstaText now appears in the menu. Click Launch InstaText<\/strong> to get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

InstaText will open in a side panel, next to your document. Click Let’s start<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your browser will appear. Sign in with your InstaText account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Close the browser, go back to Microsoft Word and click Activate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The message “Add-in active” will appear after successful activation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Usage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You are now ready to improve your texts with InstaText.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adjust the size of the InstaText side panel and choose your language settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select the text in the document that you would like to improve and click the Improve Text<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use the built-in InstaText Editor<\/strong> to improve your text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also use Word’s built-in Track Changes<\/strong> feature to revise suggested improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To choose this option, use the drop down menu at the top of the InstaText side panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supported versions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

All latest versions of Microsoft Word are supported, both on Windows and Mac. You can use InstaText in the (free) online version of Word, too. And also in Office 2016 and later versions of Microsoft Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is strongly recommended that you update your Word application to the latest version (see Instructions<\/a>). The updated version should be at least Version 1612<\/strong> or higher (see File \u2192 Account \u2192 About Word).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
