This short tutorial gives you a quick introduction to using InstaText to improve your writing and shows you how convenient it is to use.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Tip: a click on the InstaText logo <\/strong>will always bring you into your environment for improving the texts. However, you may need to sign in<\/strong> first.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n

Step 1: Paste or enter your text in the left window.<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Paste the text you want to check for improvements. You can also write a new text or edit the text. Click the IMPROVE TEXT<\/em> button in the middle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hint: click the SAMPLE<\/em> button above to obtain random sample text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2: See suggestions for improving the text<\/strong>. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In the right window, various suggestions for improvement are displayed. The revised text may include grammatical and other corrections, improved vocabulary and the use of words, word improvements, and even a complete rewrite of the text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3: Revise the improvements.<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Compare the original text with the new text. Keep in mind that you don\u2019t have to accept all the suggestions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click on any suggestion and choose \u2713<\/strong> to accept<\/strong> this change and \u00d7<\/strong> to reject<\/strong> it. You can also undo it by pressing the UNDO<\/em> button above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tracking Changes<\/strong> toolkit allows you to quickly accept and reject suggestions. You can remove the green and red markings by accepting or rejecting the changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use the buttons in the toolkit above:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Accept<\/strong> makes a change permanent.<\/li>
  • Reject<\/strong> gets rid of a change.<\/li>
  • Undo<\/strong> reverts the last change.<\/li>
  • Accept All Changes<\/strong> accepts all remaining changes at once.<\/li>
  • Reject All Changes<\/strong> rejects all remaining changes at once.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    You can accept and reject changes one by one by clicking the Accept<\/strong> and Reject<\/strong> buttons. The cursor jumps automatically to the next marking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 4: Improve the text.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Use the Tracking Changes toolkit<\/strong> above to quickly accept and reject suggestions. The following use of the toolkit can really increase your productivity. You may reject some changes and accept everything else. Or perhaps accept some changes and reject everything else. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You may want to edit<\/strong> the text while still watching the changes. Both insertions and deletions are possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A click on a word will show you synonyms<\/strong> and short explanations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Alternative strategy:<\/strong> Edit your original text.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    It is also possible to edit the original text<\/strong> in the left window while viewing the suggestions in the right window. The content of the right window remains unchanged, so you can concentrate on improving your text. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Just click on the EDIT<\/em> button in the lower left corner to obtain this view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 5: Review the new text<\/strong>. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Click the button in the upper right corner to switch between different views. You can hide changes and read only the improved text. Inserted words are still underlined so you can pay attention to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Read<\/strong> mode allows you to easily revise the improved text.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Did you notice the COPY button in the lower right corner?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 6: Copy the new text<\/strong>. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    The text is now improved! Press the COPY button in the lower right corner to copy the text to the clipboard. It will then be stored in memory so you can paste it into your email, word processor, or wherever you need it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Would you like to further improve your text?<\/strong>
    Simply press the RE-EDIT<\/em> button (in the middle) and the latest version of your text on the right will move to the left window. You are back to Step 1 and can continue improving your text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
