What Personal dictionary does<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are two ways to protect your terms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t change: <\/strong>It tells InstaText to always keep a word or phrase exactly as you entered it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example:<\/em> Don\u2019t change \u201cthreefold repetition.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stop changing:<\/strong> It blocks a specific replacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example:<\/em> Stop changing \u201ccredit score\u201d \u2192 \u201ccredit rating.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1- Open the dictionary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • In the web Editor<\/strong>, choose Personal dictionary<\/strong> from the right-side menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    2- Add a new entry<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • In the Don\u2019t change<\/strong> field, type the term you never want altered and click Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • In the Stop changing<\/strong> section, enter the term you want to protect in the From<\/em> field and the unwanted replacement in the To<\/em> field, then click Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      3- Continue writing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Once added, your entries apply immediately to all future edits \u2013 both in the Editor and browser extension. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

        You can fix this permanently by adding a Stop changing<\/strong> rule:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        From \u2192 credit score<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        To \u2192 credit rating<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        After this, InstaText will respect your preference:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Important notes <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Exact match required:<\/strong> Entries are case sensitive<\/strong>. If you use variations (e.g. Credit Score<\/em>, credit scores<\/em>), add each one separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Plural forms are not automatic:<\/strong> Add both singular and plural if you use both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Precise matching matters:<\/strong> In \u201cStop changing,\u201d both terms (from and to) must match exactly. Otherwise, InstaText may still suggest a replacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Context-dependent changes:<\/strong> If a suggestion involves other edits, InstaText may still display a related recommendation, but your protected terms remain unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
